Micaela Pollan Bahn is a New York-based writer, editor, food lover, and creator. When she’s not reading and writing, she’s probably in the kitchen trying to nail a new recipe (and taking twice as long as it says).

A bit about me.

Hi! I’m Micaela (or Mica, Mima, Mim, Mics), a Jewish girl born and bred in NYC. I received my BA from Carleton College in 2020, where I focused my studies on English literature, queer theory, and art history. I’m a geek for anything related to food, art, culture, and queer media.

During my senior year, Carleton nominated my creative writing work to compete in the Associated Colleges of the Midwest Short Story Contest, where I was a finalist. After two years of writing about food and pop culture for Hearst Magazines, I moved to East Hampton to work for Ina Garten.
